Pastor Jacob Jenson was born and raised in a Christian home in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. He received Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of six on June 19, 2006. He received assurance of his salvation at the age of ten. He surrendered to God's call on his life to be a preacher at the age of seventeen after beginning to pursue a career in commercial aviation. He attended The DeLand School of THE BIBLE, a ministry of THE BIBLE Baptist Church in DeLand, Florida, under the leadership of  Pastor James Knox. He graduated from the school in May of  2022. He and Kiersten were married on June 11, 2022, after courting for just over three years during school. They as a couple surrendered to God's call to be missionaries to the Navajo Reservation in January of 2022, and they have been serving here at Strong Hold Baptist Church since March of 2024. Jacob served for a year as the youth pastor before God called him into the Missionary Pastor role.
